Bridge Across Borders is an educational nonprofit creating meaningful international experiences that connect students, educators, professionals, institutions, and communities across cultures.
Through educational exchange, professional experiences, and intercultural learning, we help participants develop practical and professional skills, build confidence, broaden their perspectives, and create meaningful connections across borders.
Our work began with culinary education, using food and the culinary arts as a powerful way to bring people together.
Building on the success of our first pilot program, we are developing new opportunities for educational and cross-cultural exchange between France and the United States.

Bridge Across Borders creates international educational experiences that combine professional learning, cross-cultural exchange, and meaningful connections between people and communities.
2025 Culinary Exchange — Our Pilot Program
In 2025, Bridge Across Borders hosted its first international educational program for adult culinary students.
The program combined professional and cultural learning through hands-on culinary experiences, conversations with guest speakers and professionals, exposure to local businesses and employers, and immersion in French culture and everyday life.
Participants had opportunities to develop professional skills, broaden their perspectives, build confidence, and form meaningful connections across cultures.
The success of this first pilot provided an important foundation for the future development of Bridge Across Borders and demonstrated the value of combining international education, professional learning, and genuine intercultural exchange.
Continuing Our Work
The experience and relationships developed through our first program continue to inform the work of Bridge Across Borders today.
We remain committed to creating meaningful opportunities for learning, exchange, and collaboration and to building relationships with educators, professionals, institutions, and communities in France and the United States.
